My Zen Place
“About 10 years ago I picked up a paintbrush and took lessons at a local art center. Painting for me is the way I find my Zen place, my zone, a place to free my mind.
I have a bright and cheerful palate, I work in oils and paint mostly flowers and landscape. Recently I started to experiment with Abstract art.
I have a light, airy office and my studio is located above my office. It has proved to be a wonderful outlet for me.”

Why Therapy
About 30 years ago Kate reached a turning point in her life. It was that "ah ha" moment that prompted her to go back to school. She received her Bachelors and subsequently her Masters. Then she immediately began a private practice. She has been in practice for over 28 years. During that time she has come to appreciate and marvel, and at times been in awe of the human spirit; what we face and what we are capable of overcoming. Kate holds a weekly women's group focusing on Women in Transition in her practice.
