If you were laying on your back and noticing the breeze, this is what you’d see.

Come on Retreat.

Why a Retreat?

How often do you get the time to be with your SELF?   I find that many women these days don't get the time to discover who they are and who they are becoming, but you need that time.   Too much time is spent being caregivers and not being cared for.  This is your time to be with like-minded people, to re-charge and re-set your soul.  A place of security, shelter; a period for meditation and laughter.

Why Women only?

I love working with women.  As a woman, I often find we are open to self-expression.  We are all in some period of transition; working mother, single woman, married mother of five, or caretaker of a parent.  While each is unique, these struggles and challenges are not  always different and often are very similar .  Together we can share our experience  and help each other  in the transitions of our lives.

Find your Technicolor.

One of the aspects of retreat is about the need to be quiet with oneself.  To quote Philip Lichtenberg there is a “fertile void” from which a vividness and a vitality spring;s;  the creativity in ourselves comes from the fertile void.  Finding our own creativity in our lives cannot happen if we’re  always busy.

In the story of the Wizard of Oz Dorothy left a grey and bleak Kansas in a turmoil looking for a better, more exciting world .  She found a bright and colorful world (compliments of a little man “behind the curtain” and his illusions.)   She left a  black and white  life and thought her life was pretty shabby, but what she came to realize was everything she really needed she already possessed.  That when she  came to, it was Technicolor.  Sometimes when we’re quiet we can better see the colors in our own lives.  But first we must come to...!
